Custom, handmade sterling silver, turquoise and coral bolo tie with a matching belt buckle.  Intricate mosaic inlay, overlay, etching and file work showing masterful skills.  Alvin and Lula is a husband and wife team of Navajo silversmiths.  The buckle is about 2 3/8" x 3.5" and weighs about 84.8 grams.  The double bolo is hung on a braided leather with custom guards and substantial triangular tips.  The larger bolo is about 3.5" x 2"; smaller bolo is about 1.75" x 1"; tips 2.25" each.  Total weight with buckle and all materials is about 270 grams. The bolo hangs at about 22" long.  A true work of art!  In excellent estate condition.  Hallmarked sterling and stamped with Alvin inside a feather. From a private collection.
